THE 60's SENSATIONS "Lineup"

Playing Positive Hit Songs from Rock’s Most Dynamic Decade

It isn't every day that a local pop music band abides by a mission statement, but THE 60's SENSATIONS "Concept" is what separates them from other local bands available for your gathering.  Read through the following statement and you'll see why so many people comment, "Wow, what a fun time".

Rock music was born 1954 with Bill Haley and His Comets singing "Rock Around the Clock".  For the next several years this new style of music grew very, very quickly.  Then, the decade of the 1960's saw rock music experiencing its adolescent years; music changing dramatically from the beginning to the end of the decade.  No other 10 year period saw such maturity and diversity in popular music. This diversity produced everything from bubblegum music on one end of the spectrum to the development of acid rock on the other.

In our day of abundant entertainment there is seemingly every kind of local band available for any occasion to fit your needs.  So what makes THE 60's SENSATIONS concept different from any other band today?  "Positive hit songs from rock's most dynamic decade" is the answer.  THE 60's SENSATIONS intentionally ignores the pessimistic and negative-themed songs that can leave the listener with a negative sentiment.  THE 60's SENSATIONS show is filled from start to finish with upbeat, affirmative music.  Every time you hear The Monkees sing "Daydream Believer", it puts a smile on your face.  And Herman's Hermits remind you of that special someone when they sing "I'm Into Something Good".  It's just the right thing to make you say, "Wow, what a fun time".   So bring the whole family...all ages welcome!
